Amalgam Waste

Amalgam Waste Disposal

Dental Amalgam consists of mercury along with other metals.  Dental amalgam is hazardous and must be disposed of correctly.  If improperly managed, dental amalgam waste can be released into the environment.  Amalgam separators which catch and hold excessive amalgam waste can reduce discharge to wastewater.  If amalgam is sent to a landfill the mercury may be released into the water or air.  We can help you with the proper disposal or your amalgam waste.
